Before I decided on foxflower for the domain name, I had other lists of possible names. I think they're probably the cheesiest ones I've ever come up with. *laughs* They are the following:
Yes, I was actually planning to use either one of the ones I listed. At the time, I really wanted to get the narusaku.org one which is named after my OTP, except I started thinking that getting a domain for my general collective would be way more suitable for my needs since I'd be moving practically all my shrines and fanlistings under it. But I still really wanted a domain name after my OTP, and I was just as confused as ever.
Finally, I began browsing the Heaven & Earth forums fansite until I came across a certain link to a dead NaruSaku fansite on geocities, and the name of that fansite was The Fox and The Flower. I paused and I though it was just so cute and it fitted my OTP perfectly. At that point, I really wanted to name that after my own NaruSaku fansite, but I realized that I was already happy with the name I had for it, Bound By A Promise. I still wanted to use the name for something because I loved it so much, then somehow in my head the words foxflower popped into my head. It was basically the name The Fox and The Flower shortened into foxflower, and the name just somehow clicked with me! So, I decided to go with it because not only does it fit my OTP completely, but its also a name I'd love to have as my collective domain~♥.
