Recently, fanfiction.net has been making me sick to the bottom of my stomache. I've even stopped going there, and even stopped writing and posting there too. Too many people nowadays write about poor Ryou getting abused, raped or in some kind of tramitized state, and somebody always has to jump in to save him. This isn't only because I adore Ryou, but because I just despise rape in general. It's not fair that Ryou has to be treated like this! The poor guy is already hurt and unconscious most of the time, and some stupid immature little fanfiction authors have to nerve to write abuse stories about him! I haven't even read one bloody fanfic where he's the main character or can even kick ass, because it's always either about his Yami or for some sickly twisted reason his own father raping or abusing him! I say it's about time fans stoped, take a step back, and realize this! Ryou is NOT A HELPLESS WEAKLING! He HAS the power to defend himself- I KNOW he does! If he puts his mind to it, he CAN change! Everybody can! Hell he can even do karate or some kind of martial arts and kick major bad guy ass if he wants to! =P
